Read these reviews and had to give it a try. First, it is absolutely filthy, and the two guys working look like greasy-tatted homeless people.Ordered a shrimp and oyster po'boy dressed, LIGHT MAYO.Both sandwiches came out with so much mayo that they were inedible, it was coming out the sides, and there were mustard stains on the bread like the cook used the same knife to spread both mayo and mustard. They do not use Lindenheimer bread which is my favorite. The oyster po'boy had 8 oysters. Both the shrimp and oysters tasted like they were fried in old grease. Like I said I could not eat them, so $40 down the drain. The guy at the counter was very nice, so 2 stars.
Food is always on point. Ms Lucy offers great service. Only a few tables, small place, we always grab to go. Highly recommend everything here.
It's a small place but the sandwich I had was very good. It doesn't look like anything on the outside, but usually those type of places usually have great food. This one didn't disappoint. I had a fried shrimp sandwich. It was dressed as requested. Although I usually put ketchup on my seafood sandwiches, I ate this one without. If it tastes good without condiments then it rates excellent in my book. The lady that took my order was very nice. I will be going back to try other food on the menu.Excellent in my book.
This is a very old and very hole in he wall type place. But I had an oyster po-boy and it was Devine! In stead of fries, I had a side is fried okra. It was just as delish. It 's located at Homestead and Veterans and may take you a bit to search, but worth every bite!
