Feedback gevenWe had high hopes for our birthday dinner at Ruth's Chris, but unfortunately, our visit did not meet our expectations. The atmosphere was lovely and the hostess staff was friendly. Our waiter was nice, but he talked too much about his personal experiences, which detracted from our dining experience. It took a long time for our drinks to arrive, even though the restaurant was not very busy. Both of our entrees had to be sent back; my husband's steak was overcooked instead of medium rare, and his side dish was burnt. My dish was also prepared incorrectly and had to be remade. We ordered dessert to go, and our server kindly offered us a sample of a dessert we had discussed but not ordered, which we appreciated. However, when we received the bill, we were charged for a side dish we did not order and for the third dessert, which we were told would be complimentary. Despite bringing these errors to their attention, they were not rectified, and the management did not offer any compensation. In the future, we will opt for dining at other restaurants instead of Ruth's Chris. We regret choosing it for our special occasion and left disappointed with the overall experience.
The service at the restaurant today was very disappointing. Although the staff were friendly, we experienced long wait times despite the restaurant not being very busy. The food was hit-or-miss - I enjoyed the crab tower from the brunch menu, but was not a fan of the steak salad. We tried to order mashed potatoes but were told they were not available. Additionally, my son ordered the brunch burger without egg, but it arrived at the table with egg residue on the plate, indicating that it may have been prepared with egg initially and then removed. Overall, the high prices at this restaurant do not align with the quality of food and service we received. Due to this experience, we will not be coming back.
