Lovely local pub with a brilliant function room thats free for hire

Hired the smaller function room for a 40th birthday. Communication from booking to the event was great. Everyone who attended had said how they'd enjoyed the evening. Only fault of my own may I add I'd suggest going for more than the silver buffet package as small even for 30 people. But this was my error so cant fault the staff.

We went to my boyfriend's son's wedding reception here. The room was decorated beautifully, we had a sit down meal which was delicious, I would recommend this place to anybody for a celebration. Xx

I recently went to a wedding reception and was quite disappointed with the food. Many guests received plates that were missing several items—there were no mashed potatoes, no roast potatoes, no gravy, and no stuffing balls. The vegan option was particularly lacking; it consisted of just two cheap sausages, four tiny roast potatoes, peas, carrots, and barely any gravy. In fact, the portions were smaller than what the children were given. As for the evening buffet, the only options for those who don't eat meat or dairy were overcooked onion bhajis and vegetable pakoras. Overall, it was a very unsatisfactory experience.

I want to extend a huge thank you to Michelle for an incredible day from start to finish—it went perfectly! If you're looking for a venue, this is the one to choose. The buffet, whether hot or cold, was outstanding, and they successfully managed all health and safety requirements, including allergens. Steve and I are grateful to you and your staff for everything. My family and friends, who traveled from far and wide, were impressed by the venue. You don't need to spend a fortune for this kind of experience. We hope you made a good profit that day at the bar!
