The family owned pizza place is small with one high-top table and a high-top bar that will seat a couple people. You can watch the pizza being made while you wait and talk with the owners. <br/ <br/ The only issue with Pomodoro 's is that if you are not familiar with the area you will probably walk/drive right past it. The front signage only says, 'pizza. ' This does add to the secret spot appeal. It is at the intersection of Galiano and Coral Way (diagonally across from the Ale House).
Super nice service. New York style pizza place in the Gables, just what I've been looking for.
You could probably walk by this place a number of times and never know it was there. It’s a well hidden pizza place off a side street, but in a busy area. Not a lot of seating, but the pizza was served in large slices and not bad for the price. If you’re looking for a quick slice and nothing too fancy, this is a good place to stop in are area.
A great option for a NY style slice. Lunch specials are a bargain. $9 for a *big* slice, salad, bread roll drink.
My favorite pizzaria in the city. Crispy crust, moist top, great portion of toppings, real Italian sausage. Their sauce is super yummy. The slice, garlic roll, salad, and soda combo is a great meal. Don't pass this joint up. Stop and enjoy!
