Red Cove Cafe Marina - Mico

Café is closed because of low water level. Boat ramp is accessible. 8/14/22. Interesting sight to see.

Drove all the way from San Antonio to check out the lake and have lunch at this cafe. Checked Google maps and their Facebook page for posted hours. It was Saturday afternoon around 1-2pm and they were completely closed. Was only a weathered piece of posterboard in the window saying cafe is closed and looked like it had been there a while. Would be SUPER helpful if these hours were adjusted somewhere for out-of-town visitors to check before make an hour drive for nothing.

The cafe is not open at 530 on a Friday. This place is a run down ghost town

While the lake is down you can still put in here. I always enjoy this place. The staff is very friendly. I hope the lake fills up soon.

Grew-up going to Red Cove in the 60's and 70's. Sounds like it has turned into a tourist trap. $20 to launch? Guess money grows on tree's now. They had really good burgers then. They were about 75 cents, with chips. Too many people now I guess.
