Food was lovely and the staff were very helpful and friendly

I moved into the area a few years ago so this is my local. People here are great, Phil the chef does an Amazing Cavery! Gary and the staff are good people and love popping in a couple of times a week. If your new? Phil does amazing food, highly recommended. Prices went up recently, can't be helped, rising everywhere.

Had a lovely Sunday dinner here, the choice of veg was excellent compared to other places, the meat was spot on and they even have a load of pork crackling which you don’t usually get other places. The staff were spot on too, very helpful and the chef took the time to go round the tables and ask if everything was ok which again adds a personal touch. Overall the food is great, good value for money and great staff. Will certainly be returning.

Great little pub, really nice eating. the food came out quickly and was also nice and hot and good portions. they have a pool table (free on Saturday 12pm-4pm,) darts and sport on tw. will definitely be back for dinner and for a few drinks on one night.
