I did a takeout order and had 3 staff take my order which was awkward (I’d order one part and then they’d switch staff member, then one part and then switch again… . One of the staff members said “sorry we’re busy” but, honestly, they had only 1/4 of their dining room occupied. The staff were nice nothing against them they just all seemed confused and didn’t seem to have a system or leader. Which is concerning as a customer. Food was out quick and fresh! Meat was juicy and the ingredients were fresh. GREAT healthy option for a reasonable price!! Quantity of meat was disappointed. It was 4 small bite size pieces of meat. Rice delicious. But I’ll be honest, I couldn’t tell I was at a Mediterranean restaurant. The food lacked the typical Mediterranean spices. The meat tasted like pieces of steak with salt and pepper and the rice wasn’t seasoned either. The Greek dressing tasted like it came from a bottle. If you’re looking for an authentic Mediterranean option, JJ’s Grill is the way to go. This is a great option though.
Great food and service! Try the spicy hummus with mixed bread, very good.
Yum, yum, yum! The fresh grilled salmon, basmati rice, and Greek salad. I think I eat Taziki's at least twice a week. The service is wonderful, and it's not fast food. Your food will take a minute to cook because they are making it fresh (fresh being the keyword). So delicious. It is a wonderful, nutritious, and light meal that leaves you full and energized versus dragging. I don't think you could go wrong with anything you choose, including the baklava. Highly recommend.
Ordered spicy chicken harissa dish: as far as taste and flavor go, everything was a home run. If you’re not on a budget, or you want to splurge, this is the place. Long story short, definitely try the dish, but order the extra 5 ounces of chicken for $7 to increase the value of what you’re paying for. Price is about $17. Five ounces of chicken, some lettuce, potatoes, and a wedge of pita bread. Couldn’t care less about the sides, they don’t fill me up. That’s $3.40 per ounce of chicken. Outback’s 8 ounce filet mignon dish is $36; or $4.6 per ounce. For me, the disparity lies in the fact that I paid for a bit of chicken breast which asks for 75% of the price for a notably expensive cut of steak. The dish, however delicious, still is overpriced unless you buy the extra meat option from the get go.
Food is pretty good but service is often very slow. The last time we went we were told it was going to be 45 min for our food to come out. Ended up being 30 which is still a long time for a counter-service style restaurant.
