Waffle House - Midway

I sat at the bar/counter for 15 minutes, no one said a word to me so i started watching my phone. Guy walked in, sat down, and was IMMEDIATELY waited on. I made a comment about how i was there before him, had no drink, no silverware, nothing. I dont go to places to be ignored. Guess my business isnt welcomed here but dont worry, i WONT be back Service: Dine in

The employees were cool ppl it was just that you could tell that they didn't have any training the place wasn't tidy either and alot of menu items they don't sell no sour cream no shredded cheese no saltiness for the chilli and so on but don't worry I won't be back. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

Not good today. The server did not write down my order. So when she brought it back, my grits was not in a bowl, and when I asked her to fix it , she scraped the grits in the trash and brought me my plate back. There was grits all over my bacon and my toast. She didn't want to fix it. Another server seen me in tears and came to see what was wrong. I told her. She brought me more toast and also gave me more coffee. My server didn't want to it. So when it came down to the tip. I gave my server part and I gave the other server part. It would be different if I hadn't told my server to put my grits in a bowl, on the side, and that I didn't like my food to touch. I order it the same way every time I go in. I don't know what her problem was , but I wasn't the only one who complained today.

Just left here after having dinner. The waitress and the cook were phenomenal. Wish I could remeber their names. My youngest daughter rated the food and the service both a 45/10. She is a picky eater and very shy with wait staff usually but the waitress was so nice that she actually gave her own order. So thank you to the staff who worked at 7pm on 9/12/23. Parking: Easy access in and out Kid-friendliness: The waitress was extremely kind and made my 7 year old comfortable which means the world to me.
