We know businesses are having a hard time with the pandemic and this place has been over run with takeout orders, but they 've learned nothing in the months we have all been dealing with this pandemic. Everyone can have a bad day, and we give all places the benefit of that doubt, but these remarks are based on several visits over the past few months. When you call, it can take 2 or 3 times to get through. The phone will ring 20 times or so, then just disconnect. Then, the pick up experience is deplorable. The last 4 or 5 times we have picked it up, it 's the same story. You will arrive and there will be 5 or 6 people waiting for their pick up. They will ask the first person for their name, then they will not proceed past the first person until they have their order and have left. Then they go to the next person and repeat. So, if you are like me and order 45 minutes ahead to ensure it 's ready when you pick it up, you will arrive and have to wait as they fulfill the orders of the people in front of you who ordered 20 minutes ago. They don 't fill and take payment based on when you ordered and if your order is ready, the do it based on the order you arrive at the restaurant. In the mean time, your order just sits on the counter getting warm while they do that. The last time I was there, I found my order sitting on a table and just put cash there and left, I didn 't wait for the change as I 'd already been standing there for 15 minutes without anyone asking me for my name. Even though I have ordered in some cases 1 hour ahead of time, it ' 's not uncommon to wait 20 to 30 minutes to be asked what your order is and pay for it. Add to this that the quality of the sashimi has gone down hill considerably in the last year or so and this place is no longer somewhere we would recommend. We always order a large sashimi assortment with our orders and the quality of the tuna and salmon has fallen considerably. Recently, we ordered a sashimi mix and got almost all salmon, I guess they were running low on tuna. It 's important to note the decline was noticeable well before COVID hit. I think they changed owners about a year or so ago as all the staff, including the sushi chefs, are different. There was a marked decline in the quality of the sushi when that happened. A real shame as this was by far the best sushi place in Milton (and all around the GTA for that matter), but not anymore. As others have mention, the service here is terrible. If you go, make sure you have a lot of time on your hands. When you eventually get your food, and if it 's a good day, they are second to none. Unfortunately, they don 't get it right very often anymore. As the patio season comes to an end and there is even more pressure on takeout, I can only imagine how bad it 's going get. They have lost our business.
Can't have a bad meal here... this is the real deal, enjoy!! The Bento box lunches are a great value, but sushi/sashimi/rolls are delicious and super fresh!
I love this restraint it is the best ever. The service was the best. The food was to die for. Favourite parts were the seat cushions and the dynamite rolls.
Best Sushi Around. Period. Always fresh always delicious. Have brought may clients here and have always been impressed.
Top tier sushi. Fresh and tasty, large pieces and a great selection. It's a small space but the staff are awesome.
