Old German Beer Hall - Milwaukee

A fun place to hang out. Good food, good beer and good service from Olivia!! We sat next to the kitchen and enjoyed chatting with the cook for food recommendations... he even took the time to come to our table and see how everything was... that's something that doesn't happen at restaurants. This is my favorite bar in Milwaukee. Everything about this place is perfect: the atmosphere, the food and above all the beer. When you go into the door, you almost feel like you were transported to an intimate bar in Germany. The best table in the house is right next to the window and the door. The bench is bank style at a long table with plenty of space for a large amount or room for you and a few friends to really spread out. The second best place is the right Smack Dab at the bar with one of the friendly bartenders. Although when there is a band and you are in the mood to start the party, move further into the room and grab one of the long tables. Don't worry to sing along and maybe play a round of hammer hit (in the corner). The whole menu looks great, but my favourite item is the Brezel. A frosty beer and a pulp cannot be beaten here, and I regret that you follow me. These pulps are perfectly salted and are huge. I can hardly finish a quarter of these things, but my friends and random people at the bar are always ready to help me. The beer selection is fantastic and they also have a full bar if you prefer a mix drink or shot. That reminds me... if you have a group of friends or make a new group of friends while you are there, then choose the shot ski. I recommend Rumpleman's for the shots that it is refreshing and really takes you off! 10/10 leather pants. P.S. Do not forget to kiss the goat ring of the bell!

Excellent experience and a total fun spot. The bar call was very friendly and she made us feel at home. Of course beer was good, food was good. Overall, I recommend. You can even climb the wall, kiss the goat's head and ring the bell.

This place is great! I love the vibes, it is cold and the drinks are a great size for the price. No food served at night. Service: 5/5

This place totally brought me back to Oktoberfest in Munich. It was my first visit down to old world in the little German area. It was so cute! The beer hall gave us everything we expected. Giant beer and a ton of sausage! It was a great place to start a very great day!
