Royal India - Milwaukee

We had our anniversary lunch here and I was very impressed with the hospitality of host Chef Mukesh. He kept our table ready with balloons, candles and nice decoration (All complimentary). He was gracious enough to click our picture to capture themoments. He was always smiling and made our anniversary lunch experience memorable. Coming to food It was fresh, tasty and notgreasy. We tried chicken tikka masala, Gobi Manchurian and naan and they were absolutely yummy. The food was priced reasonablyas well. The time from ordering food and food on table was impressive. The restaurant had a nice ambience, clean and soothingart work on wall and lighting. They have nice selection of liquor as well. Their menu is simple and easy to understand. I wouldrecommend this restaurant to anyone, who enjoy Indian cuisine.

The food was very tasty, however the service could have been better. Our table was missing place settings so we asked the waitress for a few more. We were given a of handful napkins without anymore silverware to which we complained. I think the foodis fantastic but am disappointed in the service this time. We believe in you guys and hope you keep doing your best!

Very sad, this has been our favourite Indian restaurant for years. My family and I always make it a point to order from here. Today we tried the new online ordering system. Ordered, paid, arrived when they said it would be ready and the doors werelocked. I called and was told they are open for take out only great, that 's why we were here! She then hung up on me. Finallyopened the doors AFTER the time THEY said the food would be ready and, well, the food wasn 't ready. We waited 30 mins, anothercustomer came and left with her food. We finally get it, get home, it looks amazing, but they forgot something. We called, andthey insisted the item was there, we double checked, nope. No apology, no, come back and we 'll get it for you. Times are hardfor everyone, I get it. But this has made every member of my family look for new Indian restaurants. Unfortunately, we no longerrecommend Royal India.

Decent food/taste Small portions Had a bad experience first time. their own website was having errors when we ordered. Their system charged us twice and they brought exact same order in same delivery. twice as much food i didnt ask for and manageroffered me a discount on next order. no i dont want that i wanted my $50 back. wont be going back disappointed.

The food we did get was very delicious; however, between the lost order and left out food items, there were other places that would have been just as good. Thank you to the nice lady who took responsibility for giving another customer our order though,it was refreshing after being told for a while that the lost food order was somehow our fault haha. Anyways, really good food(even though some of our food was missing) but the takeout experience I could have done without.
