Torisho Takehashi - Minatoku

The food and service at this restaurant were excellent. I would have given it five stars if it weren't for the fact that we were charged prices that were different from what was listed on the menu. As this was a restaurant in Japan, I wanted to trust that what I was told about the menus being old was true. I hoped that they simply hadn't updated their English menus. However, being charged 30% more than expected definitely left a negative impression.

The food is amazing and the service is excellent! The chicken sashimi dishes are a must try! The sasami with wasabi skewers are also delicious! I will definitely make sure to visit this restaurant whenever I am in the wonderful city of Tokyo!

Shiro Taki is the best. I came here wanting to eat, and it truly is the best. The soup, the noodles, everything is delicious. I will definitely come back again.

The food is delicious. However, the level of hospitality of the staff is not high. I had asked in the comments section of Open Table if it was possible to reserve a private room, but I only received confirmation the day before (in the end, there were no private rooms available), and the operation seemed clumsy to some people. It's a shame although the food was good.

I had one night in Tokyo by myself and got a reservation here. The food here was excellent (I mainly had the yakitori that was grilled before my eyes). Unfortunately the English translated menu seemed to be much smaller than the full menu (many Japanese patrons were dining on things that were not on the English version), so I would recommend going with a native speaker!
