Claddagh Irish Pub - Minneapolis

Nice pub. bartenders were very friendly and they had several choices of whisky flights. came the afternoon, so it wasn't too packed.

I'm fairly certain they were short on staff, leaving long wait times. The few employees that were there we running their butts off. Understandable, so we will definitely be back. The beef stew and fish and chips were delicious! I definitely want some more of the bread pudding. I love the live entertainment!

We had wonderful service and good food. The atmosphere is very interesting. Laura and Bridget did a great job of serving us. The portions were very good size.

What a great little venue. Has fun chatting up locals while waiting for some friends. Nice bar, friendly service, good munchies. Can't not like it .

Overall, the food was quite good and the staff was very friendly. These are two essential qualities in a restaurant. However, on the side of building appearance and environment, there was much to be desired. At the time there were a few birthday parties going on, which made it quite loud. Hard to hold a conversation at the table. Combined with that was the loud music regular American rock n roll . I feel if you're going to go with a theme type restaurant, then you should extend that into the music as well. In this case, Irish. The entire place was a bit on the dirty side. Our table looked to be cleaned but was extremely sticky. Lots of dust on the shelves, floors, fixtures, etc. On the outside of the building there appeared to be damage that had not been repaired as well as in the men's bathroom. Skeletons of light fixtures with no bulbs in them over the sink. So to conclude, their fish and chips are awesome. However, the rest of the place is kind of a dump. A bit of work in this place COULD make it an awesome Irish pub to frequent.....
