Classic old school Chinese owned restaurant! Give up Chain restaurants and shop Mom Pop!!
I have to agree with the reviews mentioning the strange taste of the cooking oil. I thought the food was decent, but the taste it left in my mouth for about 12 hours after wasn’t great. Unfortunately, they only accept cash or check and seem to change their pricing at a whim. I paid $2.80 for soup one week (same price listed on their website), the next week they told me it would be $4.61 for the same size…? Maybe I’m missing something, but thought it was strange.
Friendly atmosphere, very efficient service. Chicky chow the best
First time there. The beef sub gum chow mein was a five, but the oil used to cook the egg roll and the shrimp appetizers sadly tasted a bit rancid. Perhaps I caught them at an off time. They had a steady stream of customers. It is a new business, and maybe they are just getting their feet wet. I could hear the woks clamoring in the kitchen so I know the items are cooked fresh.
