So, my suggestion is not to waste your time and money on paying them to deliver cold food an hour after anyone else would have food at your door, but if you happen to be in front of the one store it might be worth stopping in.
Unfortunately we had a very poor experience today at this particular Pita Pit. I planned my sister’s baby shower and after looking at all of our options, she requested Pita Pit. I ordered two platters on Monday, for pickup today, Saturday at 11am. My husband showed up at 11a to get the platters and the doors were locked. Two employees were waiting outside for their manager or someone to open up. They are supposed to open at 10:30. My husband waited until 11:25, at which point he decided to improvise and go to Jimmy John’s. Ten minutes later, I received a call that they were open and had seen my order...that it would be about an hour before they’d be ready. No thanks! I can’t postpone a party an hour and half because they dropped the ball. The party food was very late, my husband missed most of the shower, and it was a huge bummer. I’m just glad I didn’t pay ahead! Wouldn’t recommend for catering or at least have a backup plan if you do!
Online they offered a variety of cookies. I ordered a variety of cookies. 5 different types. Got all chocolate chip. Fine, ill deal with it. Then I opened the chicken quesadilla they offer, it had a pinch of cheese in the very center. I'm not personally a huge fan of dry chicken on bread but hey, I have cheese, ill fix it. Then the pita I ordered for my wife, supposed to come with 3 sauces. None. Nada. No sauce. The only good thing was that instead of a 66 minute delivery like estimate, she got here in 30. They mess up my order over half of the time but this was just enough. But now I am off to taco bell. Good luck.
I never give reviews but Pita Pit managed to make me want to do it for them. Ordered online at 2pm on a Thursday. Can 't be very busy at this time right? Delivery arrived 1.5 hours later. Cold and soggy. Delivery driver 's only comment was ' 'Here 's your order . Wow. How do you take 1.5 hours to make a fast food sandwich?
How is this place still open even?? They won't pick up the phone, if you place an order online it won't go through but you get charged. Small amount of cold food, that's somehow on a grill and still cold. Way too expensive for the small amount. Usually out of ingredients. How can a pita place be out of hummus and tzatziki and ranch and BBQ and about every other sauce. Why would you stock food on the line then refuse to put it in a pita because you would have to go get a spoon from the back. How are they still open?!? For reals.
