Whats Happened to TS? I have eaten there since they first opened many years ago, it was the best Sushi restaurant in Stl. We recently have had disappointing Sushi since I understand the managment has changed. Fried Philly Rolls were a little soggy and tasted completely different from previous orders and very bland taste. Food is always amazing but the service is hit or miss. Perfect low key date night. Two years later and the review is still spot on.
We've tried a lot of other sushi places, but still consider Tokyo Sushi the best! Update 12/29/22: new owners maybe? Changed the fried rice (taste like frozen fried rice from a grocery store now) and changed the yummy roll (was our favorite roll from any sushi place). New yummy roll was still “ok” — but out of the yummy/caterpillar/and shrimp tempura — the shrimp was the best.
