I think that was my favorite femme-auberge of everything we tried in the Vosges. It is in a great location with fantastic views, and like many others you can reserve a table inside, but you need to have your chances out (and it is also self-service... outside). It is a small menu, but with good local things, served very fast, and with friendly staff, although they were so busy. A great place.

You need to find a way to find the Ferme Auberge not hard to find, though a bit on paths and discover a magnificent view of the mountains and the plain of Alsace. You will be made there local food, potatoes in... a special way, smoked ham and what you will surely love to make home Blueberry Pie. The place is worthwhile for lunch or dinner as a family or with friends. You can also reach it while you wander around the mountains. Service was excellent. The place can be a little loud when crowded.
