China Express - Modesto

My entire family, including kids, visited this restaurant together as a group of 8. The staff provided excellent and professional customer service. The food was freshly prepared and delicious. We definitely intend to return in the future. I especially enjoyed their Sweet and Sour dish, the best I've ever had.

The food here is fantastic and I'm from Los Angeles. I had the shrimp fried rice, which was delicious, and the veggie chow mein. This is definitely the best Chinese food I've had in Modesto so far. I will definitely be returning to try more dishes. Thank you. The portions were generous as well.

The food here is excellent and delicious. This was my first time trying their food and I will definitely be coming back. The woman working here is very polite and kind.

Loved the food but service was lacking! She sat in her phone and didn't really check in on us! We had to ask for refills on ice tea, she didn't offer us straws.

My grandparents have been coming here for years, then my mother has taken us here for years. They no longer live in the Modesto area, but we still drive from hughson to McHenry for the food here. They have the best Chow mein, the veggies are fresh. We always get the #2 and it's never let us down. We burp garlic for hours :
