Sandwich Shop - Modesto

The sandwich shop is fantastic! Their sandwiches are packed with flavor and definitely worth the hype. The facilities are a bit dated and could use some updates, but they are quite basic. It tends to get very busy during lunchtime, so it’s a good idea to call ahead to make your experience smoother.

I haven't been disappointed since I was a kid. This is the best sandwich shop in Modesto, owned by some truly wonderful people! I highly recommend the roast beef or hot pastrami!

I can't say enough great things about this place. Wicked busy and fast like... in love with the liverwurst sandwich. Crazy for the authentic hot reubs and then the cold corn beef with addition of sauerkraut. Soups are wonderful. The crew is fast. Salads are big and healthy. Many more to love and try. See you soon.

This place never disappoints! The quality is fantastic every time. I've been enjoying it since the 1980s. In these hectic times, it's comforting to rely on something from the good old days—a wonderful meal at a great price. It's also nice to see that most, if not all, of the original staff are still here after all these years. Thank you for your hard work; it’s truly appreciated!

This place is great. Good service and great sandwiches. Get the South of the Border it is a great sandwich and you cannot buy this sandwich anywhere else. Very reasonably priced, most cases they are cheaper because they give you so much. Go try them and you will see why they have a great review.
