Absolutely without a doubt a diamond in the rough the owner father mother son are all so they are five stars but they’re above stars a true recognition to find Italian cuisine. Monessen has an equal of New York. Truly Italian cuisine a very nice environment family owned. I can only tell you if you have never had Italian food and desserts. You don’t have to go to New York. It’s just a little drive but it’s well worth it. You should never question the price when you’re getting something priceless I love that restaurant Trattoria unfortunately the sun has taken over the business but I soon learned he was the cook the whole time inherited by Life from la familiar all I can tell you is that you need to drive to Monessen and make it a event
We went here for my b day dinner . This was my 1st time here, and I am from Monessen and have always wanted to go there. I got the veal and wine, and my wife got the chicken parmasean. Both were excellent! Also, the pasta and pasta sauce were very sweet, and we loved it, probably my favorite part of the meal. We were there at 5, so it was not packed. That was good because we got to talk to the waitress about the menu. The atmosphere was nice and there was ample parking. The price was good. When I am back in town, I will be stopping by again.
It was THE Worst Experience of my life. I will Never go back there again. You want a good time and Great food go to Kodiak Restuarant. you'll be treated better and the food was Fantastic at 1/4 the price. Lucchesi's is over rated, and how the hell they've been in business for so long is mind boggling. Cinclair
