Great place. I found it kind out of luck. I was looking for a Barrosã steak.. and they had a delicious one served with cooked vegetables and amazing potatoes. Cooked in perfection. The starter was also delicious, three different kinds of meat sausage with bread. I drink a glass of wine and water. For dessert I had pumpkin jam with cheese... Adorable. Everything was around 22€ ... Cheap if we consider the high quality meat. Super recommended. The only problem I encounter was the slow service. 35mns for the starter... But from there everything went smooth.

Tasca do Açougue is a nice restaurant with a touch of a tapas pub. The food was good and within the expected price range. The service was a bit unprofessional and the waitress was not in the best of mood. It did not help the experience, specially in a Saturday evening.

Very nice place, with a good atmosphere. Traditional food and a very good service . A little bit slowly but ok. Really enjoyed the place

Fomos em uma visita a Montalegre e procuramos um espaço que seria agradável ao ar livre desde que tivemos o nosso cão. Embora eles não tivessem a esplanada montada, a empregada era super amigável e arranjou uma mesa, abrigada do frio. E ainda nos trouxe água ao cão. Foi excelente apenas por simpatia. A comida também foi fantástica, no ponto certo. O espaço dentro também parecia ser super acolhedor. A vez, claro.
