Les Garcons de Cafe - Montauban

In one of the least glamorous locations possible, but this restaurant serves largely the clientele that is in or visit the large retail / commercial real estate where it is located. Set the menu cheaply and changes daily. Velouté to begin, lumpy and tasteless, chicken Tandoori...for main, a small chicken breast sown by a thick curry paste with darkened, subcook chips and a bit of salad. Raspberry mousse was the highlight of the meal. Very efficient service from the only friendly waitress, but she works max. A cook in the kitchen. But place is very busy, so perhaps I was unhappy this day.

We arrived a little after 7:00 on a Saturday night. It was a big venue and empty, but at 8 a.m. many locals and groups came to celebrate and gave the place atmosphere. The staff was nice, the food was delicious and creative. The wine... the list is also good. We were pleasantly surprised by food when considering where the place is.

Very cool, clean, comfortable and relaxed. literally the best fish and CHIPs IVE EVER EATEN! I ate fish and chips all over the world... their dish was AMAZING. Food when I could eat and very cheap!

They gave me confit duck, white asparagus with a side of fois gras on toast, a glass of wine and a creme catalan for €14. Ergo I love them!!!

Je n ai qu une chose a dire : allez y les yeux fermé car tout est impecable ! Les gerants sont des amours et ca se voit dans la cuisine qu ils proposent !
