Katy's Place - Monte Verde St, Carmel

Katy’s place is located in the heart of Carmel-by-the-sea! My wife and I decided to try this restaurant on our last day! We decided to dine in (They do have a nice outdoor seating area as well)! The breakfast was great and very filling! We were satisfied with our choice of entree! We wish we were in town long enough to try some of the other menu items as well! The only downside to this place was that they only accepted cash! Not to many people just carry cash in the times we are living in! This is hurting the business! Especially if you have tourist coming into the city! I would reconsider why you are only taking cash and not allowing people to pay via credit card!

Great food. Excellent service. Good atmosphere. Perfect for breakfast. We went as a large group of friends and they seated us promptly and we had a wonderful experience.

This is a fantastic breakfast place! Arrive early, cash only, portions are large.

Good place. Good food. Pretty busy. Not very spacious but definitely good food. Only bad thing is they only have 1 restroom and sink yo be able to wash your hands. So even if you are not using the restroom you need to make a line for it.
