We kept in the very hot, always loud, mostly crowded Sam's boat, but waiting for a table outside was an hour. No, we're hungry. Fajita Jack was also packed. I didn't want to disappoint my guests, I remember seeing a hard spot behind the Valero on Marina Drive. So we gave him a shot and were so glad we made it! Outside seats with tables were available on the water. The music wasn't so loud that we couldn't have a conversation, but loud enough so we could enjoy it. The service was fantastic, and the owner Robert stopped at every table to make sure his guests are happy. I saved the best for the last. The FOOD!!! All our meals a Pan Seared Salmon, a Salmon Salad, and a Fried Shrimp Basket were absolutely tasty and definately a welcome change of the other restaurants at the lake I often have. If I could give Still Water Bistro 10 stars, I would, and I could not recommend that you review it. It also serves breakfast and lunch.
I worked with Chef Heidi and I have to say she's just the best cook in the Greater Houston Area. Where else can you get kalimari and clams on the lake? You can literally not go wrong with one of the foods here.
We went there recently and the food was great. I had Mahi, garlic potatoes and some other onion rings. Everything was great. Very clean and beautiful atmosphere. Bonus Patio seats on the water. You will be disappointed
The staff here is AMAZING! Chef Heidi is pure gold!! The food knocks out your socks!!!
Excellent. Best food on the lake so far. Homemade, reasonable price. Cleanest also.
