Doca - Montréal

I was not impressed with the service at this restaurant. We arrived for dinner at around 7pm and found that it was not very busy, with only 3-4 tables occupied.

The food was fantastic, the wine excellent, and the cooking creative.

The service was friendly and attentive. Overall, a great dining experience in Montreal.

Had heard good things about the restaurant but was hugely disappointed by the bad quality of the food. Was here for NYE... Ordered the Cod which was really overcooked and tasteless. Sent it back and ordered the mixed meat plate instead. The lambchops which were supposed to be medium came out rare - had to send these back but was shocked to see the chef throw them away instead of just putting them back on the grill (it's an open kitchen and something was definitely not right in there that day) 3rd time's a charm so the lamb came out fine but really wasn't impressed....

I had over 45 people for my daughters baptism and everything was perfect. The food was extraordinary, the service impeccable. Victor took care of every detail and even served us personally. I've been to Doca many times and the food is consistently delicious. The venue is beautiful and chic, great for any occasion
