Étoile Rouge - Montréal

Some times, the dishes disappoint us! Like his burnt dumplings and some of their dishes that are too salty!

We stopped at Etolie Rouge on our way to Jean Talon Market. We ordered the shrimp dumplings and the pork and bok choy dumplings, both of which were delicious. The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere and we were seated by the window overlooking the street. Etolie Rouge is now our favorite spot for dumplings.

I only had the miso soup and Chun Juan (spring rolls), but they were delicious and the whole menu was very affordable! I will definitely be going back!

A few days ago, I discovered this place and ever since I am completely fixated on their delicious dumplings. It is savoury and juicy and the sauce perfectly compliments the flavours. I’ve tried their Pork coriander and chicken coriander fried dumplings. The staff is very kind and the place is lovely. Would definitely recommend trying it out. :
