Pasta Express - Montréal

Very nice and cute restaurant. The menu is not as diverse as I expected, but they have good basic pasta to choose with a range of handmade pasta to combine with the sauce of your choice. You can also make 1/2 pizza, 1/2 pasta. The pizzas are good, the crust is a bit too hard for me. Pasta: The Carbonara is strangely watery, not very creamy and does not taste like much. The Arrabiato sauce is so good and has a very good kick. The chili oil also has a good kick to it and does not change the taste of the dish. Calamari: Looks and tastes like bust-frozen Calamari. Tastes good, but honestly expects something more homemade. Bread: comes from warm, but quickly cures and will chew as soon as it cools. Very dry bread. Would recommend basic pasta

Now this place, I have to say for the pasta lovers to stop HAVE pasta pressing on fleury. It is the only one in montreal, very beautiful terrace in a quiet residential area, friendly staff and you need and you need to try the 18$ special after 8 o'clock everything you can eat Pasta WOW. I am very picky with my pasta and my sauces and yet they have nailed the taste in each plate. When your plate is finished, they will bring you the next fresh meal you requested. I invite you to taste the Italian flavors, I definitely back they have many options on the menu that I must taste...

There on a Saturday night, very busy. All you can eat pasta starts at 8:00 for $18 (each choice of pasta/ sauce). We decided to go with the only portion of Pasta for $14, because we don't think we could manage to finish our dish of generous portions. We were right to bring leftovers home. Everything is very delicious! Great friendly service! I noticed another comment that someone found the bolognese sauce a little thin and watery, in my opinion was not so thin and I added the freshly grated parmesan to the sauce and it made it extra delicious. Will definitely go back. Great value!

I do not recommend visiting this place unless you want to waste your time and lose your good mood. We came to try so-called All-you-can-eat Pasta. We ordered our first options from Pasta (you cannot order your next choice of Pasta until you finish your first) and wait for our meal for 45 minutes. We finished our tiny portions with quite average taste pasta in 5 minutes and waited for another 10 minutes to come to the waitress. She did not yet come so that we decided to leave this place. waiters rarely check whether everything is good for guests, which shows an extremely low level of restaurant culture in this place. Avoid this food if you want a pleasant time.

We visited the place for their all you can eat pasta. Well.. literally waited 50 min for the first degustation portion. We decided not to waste another hour to wait for another mini portion and left. After complaining we received 30% off but still paid about 40$ for two super small bite-sized plates. Pasta tasted good though.
