Realistically 2.5 stars. It’s your classic dive bar so there’s not much to expect but definitely very let loose and chill place. Patio was nice as it was slightly below street level and heated. Smells really bad inside though so I recommend sitting outside.

Terrible experience. We had to request service at our table countless times, while the server was enjoying herself a nice bevy and chat. If that alone wasn 't enough, the lack of visible pricing allowed her to fabricate the cost during payment. When we went to settle our bills, we were told tip was mandatory and the server tried to put the tip into the bill, for our already over priced drinks. When we tried to explain that tipping isn 't something you force at the end of terrible service; when mandatory 'gratuity ' was not included in the menu or written anywhere else.. she told us she would call the police for non payment. We made attempts to explain that we would indeed pay the bill, but would be putting in our own tips due to the lack of service it escalated to her yelling the following; don 't tell me how to do my job , I am not your personal servant I am allowed to take a break and my personal favorite this is how it works in Canada . I hail from the east coast of Canada and have served/bartended for 10+ years.. so I found the statement particularly entertaining. Anyhow, I wouldn 't recommend the bar.

Absolutely terrible service. After getting our first round of drinks our server never came back even after new members joined our table. We had to go in and request our server come out so the new members could order and 20 minutes later when she did finally come out she sat down at a nearby table and started chatting. The prices were also outrageously high for a bar and when we tried to pay we were told there was a mandatory 15% tip even though this was not mentioned beforehand or written anywhere. The server was extremely rude and yelled at all members of our party and refused to let us pay unless we gave her a 15% tip. When she did finally give us the bill and machine to pay she tried to put in her own tip and tap my credit card herself without asking. The inside of the bar was also very dirty and the bathrooms were gross. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place at all costs.

Terrible owner. Aggressive and evidently inebriated. Screaming at us for not tipping even though there was NO OPTION to do so when he provided the machine. The entire bar was disrupted. Oh I can also confirm he is racist, as a previous reviewer mentioned.
