Oishii Japanese - Morganton

Travel and found this place so decided to try. Very practical because it's a ride thru. I'm so glad I came here because the food was delicious and huge portions! I have steak and chicken with mushrooms combination meal. It was really good and so much food. Also came with a free drink. In any case, this place would recommend!

It is a good place to get Japanese food, and they also serve sushi. Actually she was recently and ordered the Teriyaki Steak plate with a spring roll and it was very good! I'm going back. Would be very nice to see some places like these come to the Lake James area here in Burke County. I think they're full of shops from open to close. 5/14/22 still Satisfied with food there and my opinion best place in Morganton to get Japanese food safe.6/3/22 the Hibachi Steak ordered with mushrooms carrots children's plate not know that the part was more than enough! It was delicious and really enjoyed it! Fast service!

I am here several times and get the Hibachi chicken with the side of mixed vegetables and 2 egg rolls my son gets the Teriyaki chicken and both are very good. I agree that you have to wait on the ride to order you, but for me it is worth it. I love eating here.

This is a great little hole in the wall in the mountains. We stopped here on out way back from a hiking trip. A friend recommended it and it was really good. We got a variety of sushi: the Pinku Roll, the Pagoda Roll, and the Oishii Roll. All of them were really good, but the Oishii Roll was my favorite. This was surprisingly good sushi for the middle of no where. We also got the teriyaki chicken which was good, but the chicken was a little dry. The vegetables with it were really good though. I would highly recommend checking this place out. It's much better than you would expect to find in the area. I would stop in again!
