The muffins are fresh and filling to the brim. The coffees always fresh, that's because this licensed Chef takes great pride in his masterful cooking skills and his waiters and waitresses always have a kind word or two for me when I come rolling through those doors during the noons hours which makes this place one of my favorites in town. The owner's Irish and what more can I say when it comes to down home hospitality and great food, this Irishman brings to his customers, you guessed it, the luck of the Irish in both hospitality and great food served. I rate the food and service 5 out of 5 Green Beans Your always happy to chat customer John Zapantis
Has the best coffee in town. Staff extremely friendly. Very small area..feel a bit cramped. Food is excellent
My wife and I have been here a few times. It can be pretty busy during this time, nevertheless the food is always tasty. Great sandwiches and usually a soup of the day that compliments the flavours of the sandwich. The prices are reasonable the chef is very friendly and answers any questions you may have. You can also get yourself a great coffee here as well if your looking for a "real" espresso. If your in town and hungry looking for something a little different give this little place a try.
Doug and his staff serve a wonderful lunch menu including handmade sandwiches and yummy soups. Been many times and have never been disappointed.
My husband and I have seen the Green Bean featured a few times on Global News and wanted to check it out. Today was a perfect day for a drive from Edmonton. He makes delicious looking sandwiches on the news so we had high expectations of our lunch. Maybe too high. I had a roast beef with havarty and aioli on a grilled panini. The flavours were nice, but I found the panini dry and the toppings lacking. My husband had the special - ham, which was ok. We both had. Beef soup which seemed like a collection of leftovers but was tasty. It was a bit expensive for what we got - $30. The cafe is lively and the staff were friendly.
