Doot Doot Doot - Mornington Peninsula

What a wonderful experience from start to finish, a memorable place for our 15 year anniversary. The service was impeccable and the detail to attention was second to none. We loved every moment of it. It was as expected. The food was brilliant and there was an excellent selection of wines. Although we did not have the wine pairing with our meals, there was always the option to pick one of the menu or get the sommelier to offer one. We booked on a Friday night, early sitting and very soon it was bustling. The table service was spot on, drinks, meals, etc. We could not fault it and will certainly be back.

What a venue..... we enjoyed a superb, special occasion lunch, in what can only be described as Wow factor setting. The menu and extensive wine list was fabulous, as was the service from knowledgeable staff. We enjoyed the 4 course degustation selection, with pared wines. This was good value in our opinion.The restaurant itself was very comfortable (over and above the Wow), with tables well spaced, you could hold a conversation and actually hear - quite unusual for a large venue, and diners not sitting on top of each other.The separate bar and lounging areas make the afternoon an experience, more than just "going for lunch".Beautiful outdoor spaces and vineyard.Highly recommended.

I expected the restaurant to be expensive, so it wasn't a surprise. A choice of two tasting menus, we chose the shorter one. My first course was just divine, such a mix of flavours, all set for a great meal.The next course was a confusing mix of flavor and texture, and because of the poor light, I really wasn't to sure what it was I was eating. To me part of enjoying a meal is the visual feast before hand. I was tempted to turn the torch on on my phone. the rest of the food was ok.The Decor was interesting and stylish, the service excellent. I like fine dining, and do it regularly, this had many hits, but also a lot of misses, and at at the top end of town price wise (and a long way from town) it wasn't a meal I would remember with great relish

OMG this place defs has the WOW factor, I was awestruck from the moment I arrived and walked out with my mouth still open in amazement about how awesome this place is, it is such a spectacle to visit but I felt so special enjoying the 8 course degustation menu at Doot Doot Doot, ya gotta go cos words are not enough, just do it, did I say WOW!!!! Thanks to everyone for making us feel so special �

I had very high expectations, I must say. We went in to the bar for a quiet drink before dinner, the man from Iceland was amazing, interesting and made us feel like the only ones there. Then we went to have our degustation, although it sounded good, looked good, it was far to salty, staff could take lessons from the bar. Taken a leaf out of Ten Minutes by Tractor, and take themselves to seriously.
