Great American Fish Company - Morro Bay

Seafood Alfredo was top notch! Boyfriend shrimp scampi was also fabulous. Service was good and ambiance was top notch watch the sea otters play in the bay. It was expensiveeee but I'm willing to pay a good price for that kind of experience. Not sure what's with all the negativity

We give this restaurant a full five stars. The location offers a great view of the bay and Morro Rock. The restaurant has cozy ambiance and clean environment as well.Our server was kind and attentive. The food was delicious. We had the steamed Dungeness crab which was fresh- not frozen. Absolutely delicious. The barbecued oysters were juicy and had a delicious butter garlic sauce. We even used the tender sourdough bread to continue dipping into the sauce. This was our favorite restaurant in Morro Bay.

I got to watch a beautiful sunset in this restaurant. My friend took me here after telling me a lot about it. Let just say it's exactly what you want it to be. Great setting, welcoming staff, and the food was great. I definitely recommend the local snapper and the calamari sticks. Their tartare sauce is amazing. Definitely want to come back and try some other things.

Excellent visit to the Great American Fish Company! My husband and I found their awesome bar with an old time nautical decor! We had drinks and dinner in the bar and service was wonderful! The bartenders Brandon and Jacob were so friendly and had great stories to share! After a couple appetizers, we shared the petrale sole dinner. It was absolutely delicious with the best baked potato you could imagine! For dessert you have to try their delicious chocolate mousse! Five stars definitively!

The host was very hospitable and courteous. He was able to answer all the questions we had about the menu considering we were ordering take out. We ordered a few items and a soda. The food came out quick and we were on our way. He even offered to refill our soda before we left! Great first experience. We will be back!Parking: Lots of space to park. You can even park and walk along the pier after or before you eat.
