Well... I fought it for decades, but all the stars aligned up and we finally tried this iconic ML pizza joint. I kept telling myself over the years I would not like their ridiculously 'over-topping-ed ' creations. They won. We liked our pie a lot. While I certainly would not make wheels like this a regular dining occurence, it really is a decadent every once in while flirtation. I can 't even categorize them in any specific pizza style? They are just....them. A big thing that stands out (to me), is the ground beef they use is clearly not some pre-fab nuggets from a frozen bag. It 's the real deal. We went with a medium, and the best I could do was three of the smaller slices. The big, meaty wings they have did effect that, for sure, but one would always think that two healthy--and hungry--adults could finish a medium pizza w/6 breaded wings. The rest of it sits in our fridge, and mocks us for being the weasel weenies we are. I must turn in my man-pizza-parlor card. Oh the shame...
