Twisted Fork Restaurant Bar

We had dinner at the Twisted Fork in Mount Albert last night. What a great place. It is so small looking from the outside that we almost missed it. Last night's special was a roast beef dinner, with mashed potatoes and vegetables and the biggest Yorkshire pudding I have ever seen. It was so delicious and only $19.00. The waitress took our 5 orders without writing down the differences and delivered each one without errors. The waitress was so amazing. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone. The people we were with had been there before and highly recommended just about anything on the menu.

When I went about 2 weeks ago, there were flies flying around, trying to land on our food.. Alongside this, we were brought two meals that were not what we ordered, no big deal but the food was subpar at best.. Not to mention that it was extremely hot in the restaurant, with an interesting smell. There also seemed to be only one waitress working for the entire restaurant. I heard great things about this place and was excited to try it, and severely disappointed. Definitely lacking in a few areas.

We've been coming here even in its earlier iterations. It continues to be well priced with great service and food!! We're here at least once a week!

Food is good for Mt Albert let's be real not brimming with food/restaurant choices in the area and suitable for the retirement population portions are good, price is reasonable Service is definitely lacking with regards to their wait staff who does not appear happy working there and they should consider hiring more staff for the weekend rush given there really aren't any other options in the area especially for breakfast/brunch Nothing special about the ambiance

Too pricey and very limited gluten free options. My husband has hearing aids and finds it painfully noisy. And it also.
