The Station Cafe - MOUNT NELSON

A lovely cosy place, with fantastic views on a clear day. The food is great whether you decide to have a feast or afternoon tea and a cheese platter and the service is excellent. The staff are particularly welcoming of and charming towards children. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

We had an absolutely fabulous breakfast, the poached eggs were perfect, the coffee was excellent , the service was great and the White chocolate peanut butter truffles at the counter were scrumptious! I don't think you can get a better breakfast with an amazing view to top it off! A must do, 15 mins from central Hobart...

I absolutely love this place! It serves the best breakfast, has stunning views, and a fantastic atmosphere in Hobart. It's a must-visit for both tourists and locals! I ordered the eggs Florentine, while my dining partner had eggs on toast, bacon, and hash browns. We enjoyed it so much that we forgot to take a photo! Dining at Scott's establishments is always a delightful experience. Patria della Pasta in Sandy Bay is also wonderful – it has a relaxed, humorous vibe and a lovely 'home' feeling, like hosting a funny guest in the best restaurant with the best view in Hobart, topped off with excellent service.
