Boxcar Betty’s - Mount Pleasant

A little dry!!!! FOOD! Not a huge menu, but they have perfected what they serve. Very friendly staff. Efficient. I went to lunch. I waited five minutes for my food. They apologized for my waiting and gave me a free lunch voucher.

I love her food. 2. Let go, different location and still so amazing. The lady at the switch was sweet and patient. The gentleman who ran back and forth to get more ice for the store was so friendly to my child and attentive. All employees were so friendly. I got the boxcar and my husband got the not-so-warm, both were delicious! I added a fried green tomatoes this time, and it was even better! I tried the Speck Marmelade from the Not-So-Waffle and it was a perfect blend of sweet salt. Besides, I must add, I'm not a fan of Coleslaw, but her peach Coleslaw is amazing!

My wife is a frequent diner at Mount Pleasant's location. The best chicken sandwich by far. All other products we have eaten are high quality. I wait to try her burger!! Most employees are average, except a black gentleman named Rev! I don't know if he's a landlord, but he's treating the guests as they are special. He engaged a class act. If he is not a member, then the owners must reward him for his real commitment. Not many in restaurants are as important to them. Rev welcomes you like your special. Good man

Don't order the big pommes! My wife and I ordered a grilled boxcar Betty and a grilled buffalo sandwich. After eating what seemed like 1 pound chicken breast, hardly had room for the frits. They overloaded the loading tank. The sandwiches were delicious. The staff was great. Half of the pommes are poured and discharged. Come back!

Fantastic food! The chicken is cooked perfectly both grilled and fried. Both of my kids are their entire meal which is a miracle in itself but goes to show. And the macarons where incredible. Also they compost all there trash which is pretty cool if you ask me. We will definitely be eating here again and I hope one comes to my hometown soon!
