German Backhaus - Mount Plymouth

Great products . Once you start eating those breads , you cant eat any others but availability is limited . Very friendly staff as well .

Cute little bakery with fresh bread (mostly sold out during my pre-holiday visit), breakfast, lunch, pastries and cakes and some other German items (meats/cheeses/spices). The parking was a bit tricky off a busy road with only a few spots allocated for Backhaus...but it was worth the hassle as the streusel was very good! I wish they still had some eggnog cake to try too!Great local spot!

Just outside of downtown Mount Dora you'll find this cute, amazing place. My sister and I always look forward to going in there when we're in town. They have great bakery items!

Fabulous bakery with such wonderful delights! So friendly and it smelled absolutely divine!!! Sandwiches for lunch snd breakfast! Fresh breads and so many desserts! Recommend highly!

Tiny shop that is positively jam packed with scrumptious delectables. We tried several pastries to accompany our holiday festivities. The bee sting and the streussel were my personal favorites. As well we purchased several different sausages for afternoon snacking charcuterie options. Beyond that there are too many discoverable delights to list here but we found several we couldn't even find online that I won't mention for fear others buy them before I have a chance in the future :-D.
