Moss Rose - Mount Vernon

I thought I'd try this place since I heard good things. it used to be a real dive, but among the new owners it is really nice. clean, really nice padio and the drinks are still cheap, but so me better. new bartenders are really up there. great place to meet nice people. so much better than rookies. I'm going back. also the menu is not huge, but the food they serve is everything you taste and taste. if they don't go there they should try it.

I like the switch up of the atmosphere oh, and all the booths that they have added for a more relaxing experience. I feel like there's less drama then when it was rookies. But I also dislike that there's no pool table anymore.

It was the first open mic night that I'd ever been to. People were very friendly...music was enjoyable

I had a friend check out the sauerkraut balls and sliders, and we were not disappointed! We arrived early, giving us plenty of time to ask about the menu. As self-proclaimed carnivores, we were pleasantly surprised by how much we loved the homemade veggie slider; it had amazing taste and texture. They also serve real macaroni and cheese. The homemade Kentucky pie was so fabulous that I could only get a picture of an empty plate! Moss Rose has a fresh, local pub atmosphere with dart games, drink specialties, trivia nights, and upcoming paint nights. It's a great place to hang out with friends or meet colleagues for lunch. The prices are fair, and it’s easy to mix and match dishes to share.
