Cattlemens Steakhouse - Mountain Grove

We were on our way back from a weekend trip and happened on this place. Food was great and our waitress went out of her way to be friendly and helpful. We would definitely eat there again! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great food, and super dinning experience. Our realtor had the Bison, it looked good and she devoured it. She picked out the place for lunch that day. Great choice, rather pricey for lunch though, and I would save that place for dinner. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great food! So nice we went twice in one week. Had Chicken Alfredo that was absolutely delicious. Then Chicken Florentine, which I've never eaten and loved even more than the alfredo! So, we’ve been to this place often, and have had minor issues before but nothing like what we just experienced. We attended a private party where the hosts of the party requested that they were the only ones to be charged gratuity. We were charged gratuity anyways, which would’ve been fine if we were simply told about it before hand instead of being promised we could tip on our own. We also asked for a soda, because another table had a soda, and we were told only water, lemonade, or sweet tea; so we got 2 waters and 1 sweet tea and 1 lemonade. Beyond that, we were charged for things we didn’t even order, such as 5 cheeseburgers(thankfully they fixed it) and an extra sweet tea that we didn’t even order or get! What is this place’s problem? I wouldn’t trust this place with my business personally. I had to watch my frustrated parents deal with this and with the aftermath. This restaurant is deceitful and honestly not worth this trouble. I’d rethink before taking my family here, one waitress in specific comes to mind when thinking of reasons to never go there again. I’d rather go out of town to a better steakhouse than this one that’s literally next door.
