Big's Bbq Brew Pub - Mt Vernon

It was a great Fathers Day for my husband !!!! The food was amazing. My husband barely raised his Viking eyes until he had completely consumed his meal, and part of mine too! I had the pulled pork tacos and added a little barbecue sauce to them. It was out of this world! The cornbread was great and root beer was really tasty. My husband ravaged a brisket sandwich, slaw, potato salad and root beer as well. I got a few bites in from his plate, and agree, it was phenomenal. Way to go! It is worth the trip in to town for this cooking.

Fantastic place to eat! Friendly staff and good food! My family stopped before my son’s baseball game. We have already decided that we will come up from Iowa City again very soon.

Friendly atmosphere, good food, and the price is reasonable for what you get. Will deff come by again when we’re in town.

Have been wanting to try Big's out happened to be in Mount Vernon for a meet at Cornell. Well worth to drive if you are looking for very good food beer. Everything freshly made. Collard greens were some of the best I've had. Brisket and Mac cheese were good as well. Enjoyed the flight of beers I had. Golden Toe was my favorite of the 4. Will definitely be back, hopefully sooner than later!

Unique cozy atmosphere. Fabulous food! Never disappointed! Awesome beverages!
