Sea Salt Cinnamon - Muncie

Love love love this spot. Their gluten free cinnamon rolls are a favorite with my family, all meat eating gluten lovers. Their rotating buddha bowls are bomb I've only had one I wasn't a huge fan of. The bahn mi bowl has been my favorite! Love their banana everything cookies, I eat them for breakfast. Their cupcakes are moist and explode with flavor. Their macarons are tasty and quite authentic. The seasoning on their pita chips and trail mix is good; sometimes a bit much for me, but eating it with hummus/dip at home balances the flavor blast. It is a bit pricey, especially for Muncie. But I'll keep going back as often as I can!

I know they provide goods to many places in the area, but I visited their stand at the Minnetrista Farmers market. Everything I had was great, especially the breakfast burrito (didn’t know mushroom sausage was a thing, but now I do and it was delicious)! Update: They now have a beautiful storefront Downtown! SS&C is an indispensable part of the Muncie experience. Lovely baked goods, and great food for vegans, vegetarians, or omnivores alike.

My sister and her boyfriend came from Philadelphia to visit family in town. My sister is Vegan and doesn’t have many option in the area to enjoy a treat. This occasion was her second time visiting SSC. On her first visit she made a purchase right away, enjoyed her coffee and spent a brief moment on her laptop before heading out. She did mention that the atmosphere wasn’t the most inviting. On the second occasion she visited with her boyfriend and they sat on their laptops for about 10 minutes before they were offered menus and an opportunity to make a purchase. She then replied that she would buy something shortly, as they were both wrapping up some things for work on their laptops. After about 20 minutes they were approached again and informed that a purchase would need to be made or they would be asked to leave. They had every intention to make a purchase after finishing up their work. It’s unfortunate that one of very few vegan places in the area wasn’t a pleasant experience for them. After having this conversation with a couple of friends, we have found that she isn’t alone. Many of others that look like us have shared similar experiences visiting SSC.

This all vegan establishment is good for folks who like vegan offerings. Wasn't my taste personally. However the coffee cake and coffee were good.
