The dining experience was fantastic, with generous portions and exceptional value for money. The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful.

The restaurant was quite empty due to the coronavirus, so I can't really comment on the atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and pleasant. We ordered a roast, which was just okay. My 11-year-old daughter ordered a small portion of ribs for £8, and I appreciate the kitchen staff for serving it as a weekday special. However, it was quite disappointing; she received just four tiny ribs that were mostly fat. As a result, I had to prepare dinner for her when we got home. The desserts were also very small for the price we paid. Overall, the bill felt quite high for what we received. It's a shame because it's a nice pub!
