The Fish House - Murfreesboro

Kept hearing the MTSU kids talk and post about this place. They finally took me. Have been three times now. It’s a no frills, soul food kitchen diner that is reasonably priced with friendly and courteous staff. The food is great with abundant portions. A Murfreesboro favorite of ours!

My husband and I just went there for his Father's Day lunch. Amazing food, everything was fresh and just tastes wonderful and large portions. The Home Fries with big pieces of Onion was great! Definitely worth the 15 to 20-minute wait! The chess squares with nuts are to die for!! Taking some home!! The staff was all so nice..Great Atmosphere! Love the oldies music! We will definitely be back.

I can throw down in the kitchen with the best of them including Food from the Soul. And this place is Legit. The catfish was perfectly prepared and homefries were outstanding. I truly am looking forward to our next visit and the only difference I can see is I am taking a gallon of that Peach Tea home with me. That stuff was Awesome. Y'all need to check this place out. The quality will keep you hooked and the taste will keep you coming back. We will definitely be supporting this local business.

I've loved this place for years, but tonight was the first time I've actually eaten in. Because I finally found someone who would just trust me and come on! He really liked it, too, and will we back. Thanks for always being awesome :
