Gios Italian Kitchen Myrtle Beach

We went out for dinner on Sunday night. I would recommend making reservations, but our wait was not long, only 20 minutes for a table for five. Water was served promptly and our server, Matt, was excellent. The mussels bianco were the best I've ever had, absolutely phenomenal. The calamari was crispy and cooked perfectly with an amazing sauce, even our young children enjoyed it. The bread and oil and vinegar were fresh and plentiful. My husband had an old fashioned cocktail and I had ice cream for dessert, both were delicious. My husband ordered the chicken marsala and was not disappointed at all. I tried the special seafood dish, creme de la mer, and all the dishes were incredibly tasty and served beautifully and hot. One of our children had the kids' chicken tenders and the other had the adult portion of chicken alfredo. Everyone was pleased with their meals. Thank you for the excellent service and a fantastic family dinner. We loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. I appreciated the lighting, not too dim but also not too bright. There were vegetarian options available and salad options. The restaurant had a great children's menu.

Good food, but slowly it took a bit until our waitress arrived after sitting. the dinner lasted longer than expected. eating was very good! I had to ask for a water replenishment.

Takes into account raised restaurant and service is good. for food quality, prices are appropriate. all fresh and delicious.

First time visiting Gio’s. Had dinner at the bar. Great service, incredible food and awesome atmosphere. Looking forward to our next evening at Gio’s!!

The food was exceptional. My son had the Mama's lasagna and I had the fettuccine alfredo. The salad was fresh and not served as if it had been sitting in a fridge. The restaurant had a wine list featuring many Italian wines, which was a nice touch (as I've been to Italian restaurants that don't offer Italian wines). I will definitely return to this restaurant and have no hesitation in recommending it.
