The broth was decent, but the accompaniments were lacking. There was no basil, only a tiny piece of lime, no jalapeno, and a sparse amount of beef. The service was also subpar with no ice or water refills, just a quick rush to collect payment as soon as the food arrived. I will not be returning to this restaurant, as there are likely better options with better value available.
I was introduced into Vietnamese subs by my brother when I moved to Vancouver. Eating many in East Van from several places, so I have a good framework for this review. In the last 4 or so years I have eaten dozens of subs of them. Today 2. They are brilliant and so are the couples who own the place. I spoke to my friend at the gym and mentioned the place and she said she often goes there with her husband and loves her spring roles etc. So, I think my experience adds to my 5 star review.
My friends and I are here yesterday. Two of us had the rare cattle soup with meatballs, and we both wounded us with a terrible bout of food poisoning. Diarrhea, vomiting, cold, all nine. Not here. Terrible service and food will make you sick.
Save your money going to McDonalds for better service, price, atmosphere and sad food quality. Must pay for good reviews
Anonymous atmosphere, delightful staff. Soup was good, and the noodles NOT overcooked. The salad rolls were too packed with rice noodles and little else
