Feedback gevenWow, just wow! the staff was incredibly nice and helpful. the food was really delicious, very kreatiw and also pleasant to the eye. (plus, they give a lot of free snacks.) the intention was breathtaking. everything was so amazing! our entire experience in this restaurant was unforgettable and I can only recommend to anyone who visits neapel to eat here. By the way, we couldn't make it to the booking date and the nice staff just relocated to another date for us. we were really happy with the understanding of how she reacted.
A 5-star review to a restaurant that has been reviewed by the top reviewers. great experience that transcends eating and offers a harmonic and integrity of napolitano experience. large dishes made for perfection and with flair and individual look. service is impeccable and very traditional also friendly and attentive. great view of the harbour and the bay of napoli complement an unforgettable experience.
I was in a one-star fashion and the restaurant was close to my hotel, so I decided to try it. make reservations necessary to guarantee with a credit card, so instead I have them email and they accept my reservation. it is a great view of the bay of neapel safe. my table was on the outside terrace and it was too windy so I asked to move inward. it looks like you have to pierce the restaurant to get to the little dachpool, but I could be wrong. everyone was very friendly and professional befitting a high-end restaurant. they offered champagne more than aperitif, but I asked for an americano. Not because I am American, but because I like negronis very much and I didn't want to jump directly on the strong cocktail. it was not the best I had too watery and too much ice. I like the background music. the amuse bouche was very well presented, but not so delicious. since I ate an amuse bouche from the proposed order (my bad), they tried to delete them before I was finished. they offered 3, 6, or 8 courses. because of my previous experience, I decided to reduce my losses and go for 3. I asked about weeping and they liked to support. they were very accommodating with a food allergy I have. the fresh/warm brot with local butter olive oil was well presented and delicious. the americano was better against ending the 5-Spice 65-Grad ei with mozzarella first curs was not bad. the sommelier describes and poured a local white to go with the ice class. everyone spoke perfectly English. the white wee was okay, but it wasn't worth writing about it. the waiter has deleted the crumbs very professionally after the first cure. I'm afraid I have a clam allergy. the second cure was a rockfish and tinted pasta. They assured me that no shellfish was in it, but when I began to eat it, my throat began to kill and itchy and I clearly began to have a reaction. I stopped apologizing and preparing something else. very carefree about it. I would recommend ordering a table in the window with view of the bay! the second cure was delicious. it was a ragu without meat, but to replicate the taste with Japanese ingredients such as miso, etc. also the paired red wine was excellent. I'm not a vegetarian, but the second cure also came with a meatless meatball. it was good, but no one would confuse it for a meatball. this could be a good place for a business dinner (with a table at the window with a view of the bay.) the wlan seems to be only for hotel guests. but my 5g was quickly evil. the dessert who had kefir in him what I like was tasty, but not super-special. the dessert wine was hypersweet, but I would try again with a dessert course. they thought they were (probably unintended) stingy with the water. the surprise dessert was presented again beautifully, but 2 of the 4 marinated fruits tasted. I hope I'll be fine tomorrow. the watermelon juice was very good. I'm sure I'm filled. the remaining room is located in the first floor of the hotel, btw. el comandante, please do not reply that they are disregarded that I was weakened and that I should return. your negatives are off your positive. Not that they have asked my opinion, but I would keep most of the dinge equal and work on their less delicious.
We had a very special evening in the il comandante. the food was fabulous, we had the 6 course menu and we can only recommend it even though the price is somewhat too high. especially remarkable is the service. we were served by danilo and gianluca, who really did a good job and are very good over eating and drinks. we had recommended the weeping, and the selection was excellent. as we do not speak Italian, they could also help us in English. everything in a very nice evening and can only be recommended.
Overall it was quite disappointing experience, medium value at very very high cost. We enjoyed the fanciness and the beautifully served dishes, but to be honest many of the dishes just weren't tasty. We even returned one dish (both of us) because we found it to be super salty. We ate in many restaurants far more tasty at fifth of the cost. We took the 6 course menu. Don't get mistaken the dishes are maybe not that big but you end up with a very full stomach. The starters were amazing, alas the really good things are always too small. The deserts were also very good. The other dishes were mediocre. The wine selection is interesting and exotic and the sommelier picked amazing wines for us. Bottom line not worth the price.
