Traveling Gourmet - NARRAGANSETT

This restaurant is fantastic! We have ordered takeout several times and have also had them cater for a few events. The owner, Ann, is amazing and very accommodating. I highly recommend this place! She makes daily specials and comfort foods that are perfect for the chilly New England weather. Don't miss the chicken salad, and the soups are excellent too!

I really appreciate how Anne provides meals for poll workers on election days. It really helps make a long 15-16 hour workday much more enjoyable! Thank you, Anne! The Asian broccoli salad today was fantastic, but I missed the cookies during lunch... I guess we'll have to rely on Karen for those!

Ann catered my sister's wedding reception in my backyard this August, and everything was fantastic! She and her team were friendly and accommodating throughout the process. Working with Ann to put together the menu was a breeze; she is very flexible and provides a wide array of options. Her relaxed attitude made me feel at ease about the entire event. The food was excellent! Many guests commented that it tasted like it had just come out of my own oven. The dishes were fresh and served at the perfect temperature.

We were delighted with our delicious and quite original sandwiches The bread was fresh and the ingredients were very tasty. Ann has a number of entrees to take home, heat and enjoy. Wish we lived closer so we could partake many more times. Hope to stop by the next time we are in the neighborhood.

Working with Ann on building the menu was a piece of cake! She is extremely flexible and has many options. Her laid-back personality helped me feel relaxed about the upcoming event. The food was fantastic! Many of the guests commented on how it tasted like it was just cooked in my oven. The food was fresh and served at the appropriate temperatures even though it was extremely humid August evening and the event was outside. Everything was timed perfectly according to our agenda. Best of all, she and her staff cleaned up the dishes and my kitchen so that I could enjoy the event. Such a treat! I felt completely relaxed and able to enjoy the party knowing that things were in good hands!! I would highly recommend The Traveling Gourmet for your next catered event!
