Bankhead Brewpub Fort Worth

Me and my fiance came in were ignored by every server that walked by for the first 5 minutes and then we were told they didn't have anymore tabled available as I stared at 4 available 2 person tables. Not sure if it's because we were too casually dressed or they were just that understaffed, it's just unfortunate I didn't get to give this place a try as I was told the food was great I guess I'll find out at a later date when they can adequately serve their restaurants occupancy

May be the worst host I 've ever encountered at a restaurant. The pudgy little hairy guy was probably more apt as a ditch digger. If you like your Brussel sprout chicken salad without Brussel sprouts and literally a tablespoon size portion of chicken for $15 then this is the place for you. My wife mentioned the salad to the waitress and she said that 's a ridiculously small amount of chicken . We waited for the waitress to replace it or bring out a side of chicken. No, she came back and asked my wife why she hadn 't touched it? She then kinda took an attitude and said I deducted the salad from your bill. Weird. Probably won 't be going back.

This was our second time here. Both experiences have been outstanding! Our first visit we sat at the bar, had a quick app, drink and watched some football.(parents weekend) This time we stopped in on a busy Friday night. Although it was busy we were able to be seated quickly at a table. We had prompt service from our waiter who was very busy but extremely friendly and patient with us when we could not decide what to order and had questions. We were pleasantly surprised with how quick the kitchen was able to turn our food order around on a busy night. As a bonus: there was a band playing and a good mix of families and younger people dining. We arrived about 7pm on what may have been a bit busier of a weekend as it was the Cowtown Marathon and TCU had a Mom's Sorority weekend. I was in town for both.

Place is actually pretty good. Me and my party walked in and felt like the host was annoyed that we came in to grab a meal. Other than that, our waiter and food were great. After reading other reviews about the host, it all made sense.

Great place to grab a cold frosty beverage and have some really amazing food! Their stuffed avocados and steak frites with truffle fries rocked. Wait staff was cool, laid back and very helpful.
