I prepared it right. had not asked for a better experience. thanks for remembering our jubilee dinner. I hope everyone who weeps there has a wonderful meal.
Think of your typical steak and potatoes meal, but make it fine dining. Very classic American styled steakhouse, traditional menu with Southern staples. There 's nothing too adventurous; everything I had were tried and true and all tasted good. The food certainly live up to the Texas sized portions claim. I have to dock a point for the steak. Although the cuts were very high quality, several of the steaks of various cuts came back very rare, despite being requested as medium rare or medium. That being said, the steaks (seared in butter, seasoned with salt and pepper were still very delicious. : Two of shrimp cocktail, shrimp remoulade, and fried shrimp. These were the largest shrimp I 've ever seen in Tennessee.
Expensive steak was ordered medium rare. Arrived medium to well done. Whe. Spending 200 dollars on a steak, waiters should ask of it was cooked to your preference. Steak was still good but could have been better.
We went out for a celebration dinner. The staff in the front said hello and then gave us the just a minute finger. We awkwardly stood there for a few minutes before they finished their conversation and welcomed us. The waiting staff was quite unprofessional for a fine dining restaurant, chatting quite loudly and making comments such as, i don 't get paid enough for this. Our waiter was ok. She didn 't try very hard to make it a memorable experience. We ordered two great salads and a side with my husband ordering a steak. His steak was good but his potatoes were stale and over cooked. My brussels were burnt to a crisp which I would 've told the waiter but she never came around. Quite disappointed in choosing this place for a celebration.
I have never wrote a bad a review on a restaurant and this hurts my heart. I went to a birthday dinner at Bob’s and I was very disappointed. I am not the type to complain so when I showed my Ribeye that was $60+ to my waitress and she just looked and said oh sorry and took my plate quickly and got rid of it since I did not want a to-go plate. I hate to say I probably will not be back and I hate that I feel this way. I am use to managers walking by when there is a big party and not one stopped by. We had a private room and it was just not a good experience for the money I paid.
