A perfect mix of knowledge about the menu and the facility, unbelievably in conversations, and our table time to chat with each other. The most important part of my review is how excited I was to hear that Mop/Broom is gluten free besides the breads on their sandwiches. This included the Fries named for the French Fries! We started our meal with roasted cauliflowers and chickpeas Chili cheeses. Both are HABEN. Our dinners ranged from the Italian sausage, pork chop and half chicken. We were all incredibly impressed by our meals. They were really able to recognize the time that took the chefs to prepare the menu to ensure that each bite had a mix of unique flavors and fabulous textures. Our table ended our meal with the banana bread, which was a group of favorites. I was incredibly happy the kitchen took my food allergies seriously and cannot wait for my next experience here! The entire staff was wonderful and I will ask Chelsea next time again if she is a diamond!
I wanted to review this place for a month and hoped that it will be great as it appeared through the Instagram lens (her IG game is strong... but I was a little hesitant to go last night as it was about an hour before the closing time. I would say that we all have one story or two of them, such as the service, vibes, food quality, and overall experience in many places can tend to relax quite quickly as it becomes closer and closer to the closing time. I decided to roll the dice, but... and I'm glad I did. I think it can tell a test of real hospitality how a customer is treated when it was at the end of one of the last customers of the evening (and perhaps the staff had hoped to be too early for once....but then you had to show up). That means the experience I received in Mop/Broom was fantastic. The service was on site. I was hit with a smile at the door and decided to sit at the big, beautiful bar. The bartender told me a little about the food and drink menu and could answer my questions about some of the beers and foods with impressive depth and detail. I could write a whole bunch more about how and why it was so great and the food I tasted and how delicious they were, but no need to bore you with it.... In short, I had a great meal, a fantastic service and a wonderful experience, although it was the most vulnerable time for many restaurants, during the last hour of service. Thank you, Janelle and Ann! I cannot expect to come back, bring friends and spread the good word about Mop/Broom Mess Hall.
Nice, trendy place in Germantown, Nashville. The waitress described the dishes in a way that brought us to order everything. I had to stir the cats fry and my friend had the cheeseburger, both delicious. You have beautiful bar areas, but limited happy hour drinks. Parking is very slim. There is a paid amount on the street and street parking.
Absolutely one of my favorite places in Germantown. Not overpriced. High quality food. Great environment. Look at the pics.
Mop/Broom is working with cube shaped ice. All of their cubes had a hole through the middle. I'm guessing the tray/form they use causes that but it does serve as a cooling tunnel for your beverage, which is nice. Food was good, crispy fries and a juicy burger. Red Dragon wings were great!
